Welcome to OneSeed, Inc.
OneSeed is a nonprofit organization that focuses on helping smaller nonprofits realize and reach their full potential. OneSeed understands that just like a seed, every nonprofit needs a different catalyst to grow. Our goal is to plant the proper seeds that will allow the organizations we serve to grow and sustain their growth.
To optimize the efficiency of small non-profits that work to create positive impacts and improvements in urban and rural communities.
To develop self-sustaining non-profit organizations that transform our world and to become a vital resource hub for nonprofit growth and development.

Funding, programming, board development, and exposure are just a few components that greatly impact nonprofits; thus these components are OneSeed’s primary focus. Through our Growth Spurt programs, Seed Money, Deep Roots, and Twining Stem, we accomplish the goal of providing nonprofit organizations with all of the necessary tools to branch out, flourish, and thrive. The resources, training, and funding opportunities available through OneSeed not only aid the nonprofits that participate in them, but they strengthen communities as well. By empowering those who serve, we improve the quality of service communities receive, one seed at a time.
About The Founder
Moncello Stewart has been the vanguard for leadership and community service for over 20 years. His work as a partner of Savannah PR (a political consulting and marketing firm) and participation in numerous organizations have garnered him a wealth of knowledge which he shares freely to enlighten and empower individuals and organizations.
Stewart founded OneSeed in an effort to stimulate sustainable growth for nonprofits. Having been a board member for Step Up Savannah, Chatham Savannah Citizens Advocacy, the Tatumville Improvement Association, Urban Mentoring Academy, and the Sigma Foundation, Stewart is certainly a subject matter expert on how to build, brand, and bolster nonprofit organizations. His commitment and concern for the beloved community have not gone unnoticed. Service partners have recognized his dedication and honored him with the Whitney M. Young Service Award (Boy Scouts of America), the Humanitarian Award (NARAB/Savannah Association of Realtists), the Chase Lucas Humanitarian Award for Community Service (Build a Bridge Foundation), Sigma of the Year (Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., Tau Beta Sigma Chapter), and many other prestigious awards.
Growth Spurts are the 3 initiatives and programs that we operate out of.
1. Seed Money Resource Mini Grants
Identifying Funding Sources for Small Nonprofits
Starting or expanding a nonprofit organization of any kind often requires funding. Seed Money is a welcomed aid for smaller nonprofits, with budgets under $100,000 a year, who want to execute special programs or begin a grassroots operation. Nonprofit organizers are enlightened with pertinent resources and funding opportunities to catapult their organizations to a promising future.
2. Deep Roots Board Development
Strengthening Boards for Optimal Success
A tree’s roots are some of its most important parts, as is a board of directors to a nonprofit organization. Deep Roots endeavors to strengthen board capacity according to the organization‘s unique vision for growth. OneSeed provides helpful information and training to enhance the Board of Directors for more effective service.
3. Twining Stem Program
Partnerships that Produce Positive Social Change
Just as vines that twine physically wrap their stems around the main structure, Twining Stem fosters collaborative efforts among like minded organizations to support each other through community partnerships. When organizations work together to accomplish a common goal, there is less pressure on one entity. Twining Stem connects nonprofits to work as a team for the greater good of all.

As a Seed Sower, you can help us improve communities by empowering the organizations that serve them.
Seed Money Mini grant winner of the Month
OneSeed, Inc. Names T.I.A. Through it All, Inc. as its July Mini Grant Award Recipient
[SAVANNAH, GA. July 2021] OneSeed, Inc., a local nonprofit organization that realizes that funding, programming, board development, and exposure are major components that impact nonprofits, has selected the July 2021 winner for the organization’s monthly Seed Money Resource Mini Grant Initiative.
The Board of Directors of OneSeed, Inc. has selected T.I.A. Through it All, Inc. as the July recipient of the $500 Seed Money Resource Mini Grant Initiative.
Founder of T.I.A. Through it All, Inc., Tia Brightwell, said that T.I.A. started out as a passion project that has since grown to include women’s empowerment programming, supporting locally black-owned businesses, educational and artistic programing with an emphasis on anti-bullying, and community advocacy.
OneSeed, Inc. Founder and Executive Director Moncello Stewart said, “It is small grassroot organizations such as T.I.A., that make the greatest impact on our communities. It is important for communities to know that the grassroot organizations also need and depend on the support from the very communities that they serve. OneSeed, Inc. is designed to be able to provide that needed support to those organizations.”
OnSeed’s three major initiatives are to provide seed money to local nonprofits, through deep roots or board development training and programming, and by twining stems or through community collaborations.
